Bandulero Soundsystem - Forward To Victory #2

The second part of the successfull "Forward To Victory" tapeseries from Berlin's badman sound.
After their successfull first tape, Bandulero Sound from Berlin hit the stores with another masterpiece. The lucky ones who already got it give it infinite tapedeck rotation... The 6 Berlin guys give you an excellent mixing experience, packing 104 tunes in 60 minutes.

The first tapeside is strictly hardcore with a much bigger amount of bobo tunes than last time, mostly on contemporary riddims like Liquid, Saddam, Bushy Bushy and The Buzz. You can hear there some older riddims like Showtime, Ballyas and Chiney Gal aswell, but through the great mixing skills and tune choice they fade in perfectly in the whole mix. Bandulero are definetely on the mission of teaching this time, educating the massive about tunes they rarely or never heard; for example, they play the cool "Lick De Chalice" by Ginnie Pepper, which got completely overlooked by other sounds - or they dig up the funky Showtime riddim from back in 1997 to educate the youths dem... The whole thing gets spiced up with specials by Harry Toddler, General B and Black Kappa.

The second side is more laidback, early-dancehall style... 200x Riddims like Nine Night, Mento, Herbalist Energy meet oldschool stuff like Punnanny. Here the Bandulero selectors show their way of "intelligent mixing" again, their special way of tune order; for example, they play "Don't Break The Rules" by Degree followed by "In The Army" by Yellowman, which is the not-so-well known origin of the first tune. Again a kind of education for the massive...

All in all, this might be one of the most entertaining and smooth dancehall juggling tapes outta Germany.
