Again, we are very happy to support and back up one of Europes biggest Reggae Festival over the past 20 years. The good old Summerjam Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! What started 1986 with a one-day festival at the Loreley (GER) open air theater, goes into it´s 20th round - now located at the beloved Cologne-Bay Area at the Fühlinger See. A beautiful recreation area with many lakes surrounded by lushy green. Just the right spot to give it an original "Yard" feeling. For the 20th anniversary some specials are being arranged with artists that followed the Summerjam tradition from the very beginning like U-Roy, Gregory Isaacs, Yelloman and many more.

20th Summerjam Festival

Even though Summerjam promoters Contour Music excellently managed to extend the program from roots to the latest dancehall over the past years, for the 20th aniversary there will be a special - "Going Back To The Roots" - lineup. In combination with some of the hottest, new artists from Jamaica and Germany like Ward 21, Sizzla, Anthony B, Gentleman, Seeed and Patrice, foundation artist like Barrington Levy, Alpha Blondy and Frankie Paul will be a guaranty for a felicitous festival and anniversary celebration. And as an old tradition of course the soundsystem tents with sounds like Pow Pow Movement, David Rodigan, Silly Walks and Sentinel Soundsystem will pull the crowd to a big after show party all night long. As usual you´ll find food shacks from all over the world, the big bazaar and Circus Changhai playing on the festival area. Based on this versatile program, each and every desire will find fulfillment - a guaranty for an outstanding festival. So people from all over the world - let´s celebrate this happening!
