Mr. Easy
(Kingston, Jamaica) - Dancehall singer Mr. Easy has carefully continued to record with top notch producers delivering unparallel songs about relationships, reality and also representing the island’s laid back ultra smooth rudebwoys. His song "Falling" from producer Don Corleon’s Seasons Riddim has experienced wide airplay across Jamaica since summer. The song has also found its way into the mix at mainstream radio, primarily on the East Coast; during a set that fuses TOK’s hit "Footprints" with other strong one drop releases.

World Clash 2005
Irish and Chin’s World Clash series of events traveled to Jamaica, Antigua and Canada this year. Now, the flagship event is returning to Brooklyn, New York, where the monumental World Clash 1999 set new standards for the sound clash industry.

The phenomenal World Clash is slated to take place at Brooklyn’s hot spot, Elite Ark on October 8, 2005 during Columbus Day Weekend. This stellar competition, which currently boasts the likes of Bass Odyssey, Mighty Crown and Black Kat as competing sounds, will entertain fans in the nation’s hub of Dancehall music and Caribbean culture, Brooklyn, New York. The event will be hosted by Noah, one of Brooklyn’s popular selectors.

Update: Sentinel (GER), Desert Strom (CA) and Immortal (UK) also announced to fight for WC2005-Trophy!

(Kingston, Jamaica) Dancehall singer Chico has made a French Connection! Chico recorded the song "Hey Sexy Wow" with Universal France’s recording artist Lord Kossity. Lord Kossity, an artist whose style is a combination of Hip Hop and Dancehall, sought out Chico when recording his latest album "Booming System" released June 2005. "Hey Sexy Wow" is the first single off this new album.

Dutch Reggae Star "Ziggi"
Dutch Born, (March 8th 1981) R.Blijden a.k.a Ziggi is one of Rock'n'Vibes (Dutch Label) most versatile dancehall/reggae artistes. He left the Netherlands at an early age, destination: St. Eustatius (The Caribbean). While living there he was introduced to a wide variety music genres such as gospel, rap, hip-hop, reggae and dancehall, which formed the basis of the artist he is today.
